The vehicle roof structure includes an annular frame (8) that is joined to a circumferential edge of a roof panel (7) (an outer panel (71) and an inner panel (72)) and supports the roof panel (7). The annular frame (8) has higher rigidity than the roof panel (7), is arranged in an opening (6) of a roof (2), and is joined to a pair of roof side rails (3), a front header (4), and a rear header (5).
