Zusammenfassung:An image forming apparatus (100) includes a sheet separation device (1) configured to separate a two-ply sheet (PJ) in which two sheets (PI, P2) are overlapped and bonded together at one end of the two-ply sheet (PJ), a first sheet feeder (11, 114) configured to feed the two-ply sheet (PJ), a second sheet feeder (112, 197) configured to feed an inner sheet (PM) to be inserted between the two sheets (PI, P2), an image forming device (101, 125) configured to form an image on the inner sheet (PM) fed from the second sheet feeder (112, 197), a heat source (120, 130) disposed upstream from the sheet separation device (1) in the sheet conveyance direction, and a controller (500) configured to cause the two-ply sheet (PJ) fed from the first sheet feeder (11, 114), to detour the heat source (120, 130) to the sheet separation device (1).
