Zusammenfassung:A vehicle motion control device and its method that can improve the comfort of the occupants of each vehicle when a plurality of vehicles travel in vehicle platooning are provided. Longitudinal acceleration of at least one of a preceding vehicle and a subsequent vehicle is controlled so that, in vehicle platooning, a distance between a preceding vehicle and a subsequent vehicle increases before an absolute value of lateral acceleration of a subsequent vehicle or a curvature of a travel trajectory of a subsequent vehicle increases or decreases and a distance between a preceding vehicle and a subsequent vehicle decreases after a section in which an absolute value of lateral acceleration of a preceding vehicle and a subsequent vehicle or a curvature of a travel trajectory of a preceding vehicle and a subsequent vehicle increases or decreases. More specifically, travel information of the vehicle traveling in platoon is transmitted/received between the vehicles, the longitudinal acceleration of at least one of the preceding vehicle and the subsequent vehicle is controlled so that the distance between vehicles increases before the absolute value of the lateral acceleration of the subsequent vehicle or the curvature of the travel trajectory of the subsequent vehicle increases or decreases, and the longitudinal acceleration of the preceding vehicle and the subsequent vehicle is controlled so that the distance between vehicles decreases after a section where the absolute value of the lateral acceleration of the preceding vehicle and the subsequent vehicle or the curvature of the travel trajectory of the preceding vehicle and the subsequent vehicle increases or decreases.
