Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a cooling device (1) comprising at least one fresh food compartment (2); a freezing compartment (3) which is disposed in the fresh food compartment and which is kept at lower temperatures than the fresh food compartment (2); a compressor (4) which performs a cooling cycle by compressing and circulating a refrigerant fluid and which can be operated at variable speeds; at least one temperature sensor (5) which measures the temperature of the fresh food compartment (2), and at least one control unit (6) which is connected to the temperature sensor (5) so as to exchange data and which is configured to activate and deactivate the compressor (4) at least depending on the temperature values received from the temperature sensor (5).
