Zusammenfassung:	The aim of the invention is to enable, in a simple manner, the protection of moving or stationary objects from laser-guided threats, in particular from laser-guided threats approaching the object from above. This aim is achieved, according to the invention, in that active masses of a corresponding number of decoys are ignited in a specifiable height range to the windward side of the object to be protected such that the decoy cloud(s) forming in this height range is/are moved by the wind force acting thereon over the object to be protected and subsequently conceal said object.
