Zusammenfassung:	The switching and protection means (1) of the present invention for being applied in low-voltage boards comprises a casing (9) wherein it can house at least one circuit breaker (5) with at least two positions, actuation means (6), a protection element (22), and selector means (7) which, in the case of a circuit breaker (5) with three positions, allows transmitting at least three switching positions (making, breaking and/or disconnecting, and grounding) depending on the movement of the actuation means (6) with two functional positions (C, D) and depending on the position of the selector means (7) with at least two positions (A, B). The switching and protection means (1) integrated inside the casing (9) are installed in a structure (15), which in turn can be installed on the distribution busbar (12) of a low-voltage board.
