Zusammenfassung: | A reforming element for a fuel cell stack and a corresponding method are provided that can reduce or minimize temperature differences within the fuel cell stack when operating the fuel cell stack with increased CO2 utilization. The reforming element may include at least one surface, wherein a reforming catalyst is deposited on the surface. A difference between a minimum reforming catalyst density and/or activity and a maximum reforming catalyst density and/or activity over a first portion of the at least one surface may be from 20% to 75%, wherein the maximum catalyst density and/or activity is close to a side of the fuel cell stack corresponding to at least one of an anode inlet and a cathode inlet. |
