Zusammenfassung:A filter monitoring system for monitoring the condition of a filter (30) comprises a differential pressure sensor (10). A first pressure port (11) of the differential pressure sensor (10) is connected in a fluid-tight manner to the downstream side of the filter (30). A second pressure port (12) of the differential pressure sensor (10) is arranged downstream from the filter (30) without being connected to the filter in a fluid-tight manner. Thereby the differential pressure sensor determines a pressure drop across the filter while being protected from contamination. The pressure drop can be used to monitor the condition of the filter.
