Zusammenfassung:	The subject of the invention is a method for manufacturing a tyre by means of an assembly comprising: a first structure of first filamentary elements, a second structure of second filamentary elements, a supporting structure (30) comprising supporting filamentary elements connecting the first structure of first filamentary elements and the second structure of second filamentary elements together. The assembly is wound, around an assembly support, in the circumferential direction (XX1) of the assembly support. At the latest during the winding step, the first structure has a transverse discontinuity. After the winding step, the first structure is moved away radially from the axis of revolution (YY') of the assembly support, such that the first structure is lengthened in the circumferential direction of the assembly support.
