Zusammenfassung:	A mounting bracket (100) for the mounting of an electronic device (300), such as a camera, on a support surface (200) is provided. The mounting bracket (100) comprises a mounting plate (1) configured to attach the mounting bracket (100) to the support surface (200), and a device attachment portion (4) configured to receive the electronic device (300). The mounting plate (1) comprises a recess (12) which is formed at a peripheral edge portion (6) of the mounting bracket (100). In a condition when the mounting bracket (100) is attached to the support surface (200), the recess (12) allows insertion of a user's finger in an interspace being formed between the mounting plate (100) and the support surface (200).
