Zusammenfassung:	In a reinforcing device 30 that is for reinforcement of an angle material 12 of an existing structure and has two band members 301, 302 for holding both sides of the angle material 12 from their respective outer face sides, a band auxiliary member 303 arranged at an inside corner of the angle material 12, a joining bolt/nut set 304 for joining the band auxiliary member 303 and one end of each of the band members 301, 302 together and a tightening bolt/nut set 305 for integrally fixing the other end of each of the band members 301, 302 to the angle material 12, the joining bolt/nut set and the tightening bolt/nut set are arranged only one by one respectively at one end and the other end of each of the band members 301, 302. An outer face of each of the band members 301, 302 has reinforcing ribs, wherein the reinforcing ribs are provided at either an upper part or a lower part of each of the two band members 301, 302 so as to be arranged to ensure that the reinforcing ribs of the two band members 301, 302 are positioned on the sides mutually different in a vertical direction when attachment to the angle material 12 is done.
