Zusammenfassung:Floor mop (1) comprising an elastically deformable base (2) and a covering lying against an underside of the base and forming a cleaning side of the floor mop there, wherein this underside comprises mutually adjacent zones so that the cleaning side is divided into respective contact zones, and wherein by exerting a force on at least one zone, the floor mop is deformable between a rest position in which the contact zones only make limited contact with the surface to be cleaned, and a cleaning position in which the contact zone(s) concerned is/are in contact with the surface to be cleaned over almost their entire surface.
