SYSTEM FOR COUPLING A SUSPENDED BOOM FRAME TO A FIXED FRAME AND VEHICLE WITH SUCH

A system (100) for coupling a suspended boom frame (102) to a fixed frame (150) is disclosed. The system (100) comprising: a fixed frame (150) operably, fixedly engaged to a sprayer vehicle, the fixed frame (150) comprising one or more controllable springs (224, 224'), the fixed frame (150) comprising a fixed coupling (106) providing a pivot point; a suspended frame (102) operably coupled with a pair of boom wings (1004, 1006) to form a suspended portion, the suspended frame (102) comprising: a suspended coupling disposed above a center of gravity of the suspended portion, the suspended coupling providing for pivoting about the fixed coupling (106) in roll, yaw, and pitch axes; and one or more dampers (110, 110') operably, pivotably coupled with the fixed frame (150) to dampen movement of the suspended frame (102) in the roll axis; wherein the one or more controllable springs (224, 224') engage with the suspended frame (102) to control a position of the suspended frame (102) with respect to the fixed frame (150). Furthermore, an agricultural vehicle with said system is disclosed.
