Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an open roof construction for a vehicle having a roof opening (1) in a fixed roof (2). The fixed roof has a roof edge (14) defining the roof opening and protruding in a downward direction. The open roof construction comprises a stationary part (5, 6) and at least one panel (3, 7) for at least closing the roof opening. The stationary part (5, 6) is provided with sealing means (8) comprising a first seal part (12) forming a seal towards the panel (3, 7), and a second seal part (13) capable of sealing the stationary part (5, 6) against the roof edge (14) of the fixed roof (2). The sealing means (8) is provided with an attachment structure (17) protruding from the first seal part (12) and the second seal part (13) and attaching the sealing means (8) to the stationary part (5, 6). A reinforcement member (16) is integrated in the sealing means (8) and extends at least between the first seal part (12) and the second seal part (13). The reinforcement member (16) forms an integral part of the attachment structure (17) of the sealing means (8).
