NETWORK QUALITY MONITORING METHOD AND DEVICE

This application provides a network quality monitoring method and apparatus, and relates to the field of communications technologies, to more effectively monitor network quality. The method includes: obtaining, by a network quality monitoring apparatus, network running data, where the network running data includes dynamic data corresponding to a plurality of sampling periods and static data that are of an AP; determining a plurality of channel efficiency values of the AP based on a plurality of groups of dynamic data of the AP; determining a channel efficiency baseline of the AP based on the static data of the AP; and determining, based on the plurality of channel efficiency values of the AP and the channel efficiency baseline of the AP, network quality of a wireless local area network in which the AP is located. One channel efficiency value of the AP is a volume of data transmitted per unit time in a valid data transmission time period in one sampling period, and the channel efficiency baseline of the AP is used to indicate a variation relationship between a reference value of a channel efficiency value of the AP and a first dynamic parameter, where the first dynamic parameter is one of the dynamic data of the AP.
