Zusammenfassung:An electrical connector (10) including a shell (12) and a coupling ring (14). The shell (12) has contact receiving passages (26) and an outer wall (24) with a coupling ring retaining projection (36). The coupling ring (14) is integrally mounted on the shell (12). The coupling ring (14) is movable between a first position and a second position. A spring (66) is integrally positioned on or forms part of the coupling ring (14). The spring (66) is provided in a stressed position when the coupling ring (14) is moved to the second position. Openings (69) are provided in the coupling ring (14); the openings (69) being positioned proximate the spring (66). The opening (69) are dimensioned to allow the removal of residual material produced during the manufacture of the electrical connector (10).
