LIGHTING MODULE AND CORRESPONDING LIGHTING SYSTEM

A lighting module (30) comprises a first terminal (30a) and a second terminal (30b) configured to receive a supply voltage (Vout), and a string of light sources (LED1, LED2, ..., LEDi, ..., LEDn-1, LEDn) connected in series between said terminals (30a, 30b).The lighting module (30) comprises a first protection circuit (40a) and a second protection circuit (40b), which are connected in series to the string of light sources. The first protection circuit (40a) is connected between the first terminal (30a) and a first light source (LED1) of the string, and the second protection circuit (40b) is connected between a last light source (LEDn) of the string and the second terminal (30b) .The protection circuits (40a, 40b) comprise respective junctions or respective MOS field effect transistors, the value of impedance of which depends on the value of the supply voltage (Vout).
