Zusammenfassung:The visibility of a display device under colored ambient light is improved. There is provided an image processing system for converting a color space represented by color components of image data. The image processing system includes a color space converter configured to correct the color components of the image data by converting the color space such that, with respect to particular color components in user-perceived color gamut widened by influence of chromatic adaptation caused by ambient light, the influence is maintained and such that, with respect to particular color components in user-perceived color gamut narrowed by the influence, the influence is canceled; and a display unit configured to display, as an output image, the image data using the corrected color components.
