Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a method for monitoring the deformation unit of at least one circulating steel belt (5a, 5b) in a continuous press (1) for material plates, wherein with the aid of the steel belt (5a, 5b) at a pre-selected belt speed, pressure is applied to a press mat to create the material plate, the deformation unit of the steel strip (5a, 5b) is monitored via at least one optoelectronic detector (2) at least on one side of the steel strip (5a, 5b) in such a way that a light transmitter (14) sends a light pattern (16) to the steel belt (5a, 5b) and a light receiver (15) receives the light pattern (16) in a reflection process and forwards it to an analysis unit (3) which detects changes. In order to minimize the maintenance effort to find a deformation unit in need of repair, it is proposed that the steel strip (5a, 5b) has a starting point of the detector measurement (27), which is detected by the optoelectronic detector (2) and detected deformation unit is transmitted to the analysis unit (3). |
