METHODS, DEVICES AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT OF A LI SYSTEM

The present disclosure relates to Lawful Interception. More particularly, the disclosure presents methods, node entities and computer program products for enabling correlation over the X interfaces of a LI system.The proposed technique consists of building the XID as a structured field consisting of two parameters: node identifier and pure task identifier, unique per Intercept Control Element,ICE. In the X3 header only the pure task identifier will be sent from the ICE reducing the overhead on the X3 header. The correlation is assured because the source IP address of the X3 message will allow the identification of the ICE.
