Zusammenfassung:	A connecting device having a connecting body with a receiving opening for a pipeline and a retaining element for securing an inserted pipeline. Inside the connecting body is a release element disposed in an axially displaceable manner such that the pipeline can be released. The release element includes a ring part and snap-in arms separated from each other by longitudinal slots. The outer perimeter the ring part can be sealed by an outer perimeter gasket against an interior perimeter wall of the connecting body, and the interior perimeter of the ring part can be sealed by an interior perimeter gasket against the inserted pipeline. In an assembled state of the connecting device, the outer perimeter gasket can be deformed from its sealing position such that at least one leakage gap is formed in the interior of the connecting device by an interior pressure of a pressurized medium in the pipeline.
