ROTATABLE INTERFACE ASSEMBLY FOR AN ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR

The present invention relates to a rotatable interface assembly 10 for an electrical connector, an electrical connector, a connector system 1 and a method 500 for coupling the system. The rotatable interface assembly comprises a connector component 300, including at least one electrical contact for electrically connecting electrical elements via a corresponding counter connector 20. The rotatable interface assembly further comprises a base part 100 and a rotatable part 200. The base part 100 at least partially houses the connector component, and comprises at least one securing means 102, 104 for being secured to a fixed counterpart. The rotatable part 200 being adapted to receive the corresponding counter connector at least partially under a specific angular orientation, wherein the rotatable part is arranged on the base part, so as to be rotatable around a rotational axis A relative to the base part. The rotatable part 200 can be rotated around the rotational axis A in a desired angular orientation that matches an orientation of a corresponding counter connector 20, so as to allow to receive the corresponding counter connector 20 under different angular orientations, relative to the base part 100.
