A display panel includes a substrate (110) including an emission area (EA) and a non-emission area (NEA); an auxiliary electrode (157) placed in the non-emission area, and supplied with power for driving the display panel; a protective layer (160) placed on the auxiliary electrode; a contact hole (CH2) penetrating through the protective layer, and exposing the auxiliary electrode; a connection electrode (173) placed in such a manner as to be in contact with the auxiliary electrode (157) within the contact hole (CH2); an electron auxiliary layer (183)placed on the connection electrode; a cathode electrode (185) placed on the electron auxiliary layer 183); and a protrusion (175) formed protruding from the connection electrode (173), wherein the protrusion (175) is formed in such a manner as to form a shade region on the connection electrode (173), and the cathode electrode (185) is in contact with the connection electrode in the shade region.
