TURBULENCE GENERATOR

A turbulence generator for a headbox of a machine for producing a fibrous web, in particular a paper or cardboard web, comprising an inlet region having inlets distributed in each case in the machine transverse direction in at least one horizontal plane and each guiding a fibrous suspension inlet flow, and an outlet region having a plurality of outlets distributed in the machine transverse direction in at least one horizontal plane and each guiding a fibrous suspension outlet flow. The turbulence generator is designed here such that the inlet flows fed via the inlets of the inlet region are each divided at least in part into at least two partial flows exiting the outlet region via respective outlets in the form of output flows. The invention also relates to a headbox comprising such a turbulence generator.
