Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a contacting device for battery cells combined to form a module, comprising a base plate (1), which on one side has cell receptacles (2) for the end sections of individual battery cells (3), and on the opposite side has contact points (4), which are connected to electrical connecting conductors (5) for the battery cells (3). The aim of the invention is to design such a contacting device in such a way that both an electrical and a thermal loading of adjacent cells of an outgassing battery cell is avoided. This aim is achieved, according to the invention, in that the cell receptacles (2) have outgassing valves (6), which are connected to the connecting conductors (5) in a manner that is resistant to tensile stress, and in that a degassing region (7) each is connected to the outgassing valves (6).
