Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a process for providing hydrogen gas, comprising the steps of supplying a hydrogen carrier medium of a first hydrogenation degree from a storage reservoir (15, 35) to a dehydrogenation reactor (17) and of dehydrogenating the hydrogen carrier medium to a second hydrogenation degree which is lower than the first hydrogenation degree, thereby releasing hydrogen gas, the difference between the first hydrogenation degree and the second hydrogenation degree being in the range of an optimum dehydrogenation capacity.
