The present invention relates to a composition for promoting uric acid excretion and the like, containing at least one flavanone compound selected from the group consisting of a flavanone free of methoxy groups or having one methoxy group and a flavanone glycoside free of methoxy groups or having one methoxy group as an active ingredient.
