The brush seal includes a first set of bristles (72A) and a second set of bristles (72B). The first set of bristles includes a first bristle (52A) that contacts the seal land surface. The second set of bristles includes a second bristle (52B) that contacts the seal land surface. The second bristle crosses the first bristle.
