Zusammenfassung:A system, a method and a computer program product for storing data are provided. A first anchor having a plurality of delta-compressed versions of data dependent on the first anchor is generated. A new decompressed version of data for replacing the first anchor of a cluster as a new anchor of the cluster is received. The first anchor is decompressed to generate a decompressed first anchor. A difference between the decompressed first anchor and the new decompressed version of data is determined. A first reverse delta-compressed version is generated. The new decompressed version of data is data-compressed. Another version of data is received and delta-compressed against the compressed new anchor of the cluster. The compressed new anchor of the cluster, the first reverse delta-compressed version, the re-computed delta-compressed versions, and the delta-compressed another version of data are stored in a first storage location.
