Zusammenfassung:A wind turbine (1), comprising a hub (6), rotor blades (5), wherein each rotor blade (5) is rotatably supported at or in the hub (6) by means of a pitch bearing (12), a pitch control device (13) for changing a pitch angle of the rotor blades (5), and a measurement system (16) for capturing a sensor signal (f) in or at the pitch bearing (12) and for changing the pitch angle by means of the pitch control device (13) as a function of the sensor signal (f) to prevent failure of the pitch bearing (12) due to a lack of lubrication, wherein the sensor signal (f) represents a change in vibration, noise and/or temperature in or at the pitch bearing (12).Due to the fact that the pitch angle can be changed as a function of the sensor signal (f), lubrication of the pitch bearing (12) is ensured throughout the lifetime of the pitch bearing (12). Unnecessary pitch movements can be prevented. This reduces energy loss. Also, damage of the pitch bearing due to a lack of lubrication (12) can be prevented.
