Zusammenfassung:	Provided is an insertion aid tube having a tube-shaped substrate a and a layer b positioned on the inside and/or outside of the tube-shaped substrate a, wherein the layer b contains a polymer which includes a polysiloxane structure, the polymer contains an acrylic acid component, an acrylic acid ester component, an acrylamide component or a styrene component, and the polymer molecule has a specific polar group. Also provided are an insertion aid tube composition which makes it possible to provide said insertion aid tube, a set comprising an endoscope and said insertion aid tube, an endoscope device equipped with an endoscope and said insertion aid tube, and a method for producing an insertion aid tube.
