Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a lip seal (2) for sealing a first element (200) against a second element (300). The lip seal (2) comprises a generally ring shaped lip seal body (4) having a sealing portion (6) for contacting said second element (300) and a fixing portion (8) for fixing the lip seal (2) to said first element (200). An assembly groove (10) is formed in an outer peripheral surface (12) of the fixing portion (8) for engaging with a corresponding protrusion (202) formed on the first element (200). The lip seal body (4) is rotationally symmetrical to a central axis (AC). The sealing portion (6) comprises an inner leg (18) protruding towards the central axis (AC) adapted to sealingly contact the first element (200) and an outer leg (20) protruding away from the central axis (AC) adapted to sealingly contact the second element (300).
