DEVICE FOR PROTECTING A PASSENGER SIDE SAFETY AIRBAG FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE

The invention relates to a motor vehicle body (1) equipped with inflatable screen devices (3) and a load net device (4). Each of the devices with an inflatable screen (3) comprises an airbag (5) that is folded inside a box (7) overhung by a gas reserve (6) which extends longitudinally (L1) between the front (AV1) and the rear (AR1) of the frame (1), on which they are anchored via at least one first anchoring member (8a). The load net device (4) comprises a load net (11) which is borne by a transverse bar (12), the ends (13) of which are each anchored on the frame (1) via at least one second anchoring member (8b). Taking into account a longitudinal proximity between either of the ends (13) of the bar (12) and an inflatable screen device (3), a deflector (14) is inserted longitudinally between either one of the inflatable screen devices and the end (13) of the bar (12) longitudinally near the rear end of said any inflatable screen device (3).
