Zusammenfassung:A method is provided for treating or preventing symptoms of asthma in a subject in need thereof by administering a corticosteroid pharmaceutical composition to a subject qualified for over-the-counter access to the corticosteroid pharmaceutical composition. In some embodiments, the corticosteroid pharmaceutical composition includes a class B corticosteroid, a glucocorticosteroid, budesonide, ciclesonide, fluticasone furoate, mometasone furoate, fluticasone propionate, or beclomethasone dipropionate.
