Zusammenfassung:	A power transmission device (300) includes a movable part (12) which comes up and down with respect to the ground, and an elevating mechanism (17) which moves the movable part (12) up and down. A defrosting method for a power transmission device measures a temperature of the power transmission device (300), and compares the measured temperature with a threshold preliminarily set for determining a freeze of the power transmission device (300) so as to determine whether the power transmission device (300) is frozen. The defrosting method for a power transmission device excites a power transmission coil (41) when determining that the power transmission device (300) is frozen.
