Zusammenfassung:A system for modulating air flow in a gas turbine engine (100; 800) is provided. The system may include a seal wall (904; 952; 992) comprising an opening, a seal door (908; 970; 1000) configured to slideably engage the seal wall (904; 952; 992), and an actuator (505; 5551-n; 910) configured to move the seal door (908; 970; 1000) over the opening. In various embodiments, the system may include a surface forward of the seal door (908; 970; 1000). The seal door (908; 970; 1000) may be configured to seal a passage (899; 906; 954; 994) through the surface and the opening of the seal wall (904; 952; 992). A track (972; 1006) may be disposed under the seal door (908; 970; 1000). The track (972; 1006) may comprise cobalt. Rollers (1004) may be coupled to the seal door (908; 970; 1000) with the rollers (1004) on the track (972; 1006). The seal door (908; 970; 1000) may comprise a nickel-chromium alloy. A sync ring (902; 950; 998) may be coupled to the seal door (908; 970; 1000). The actuator (505; 5551-n; 910) may be coupled through the sync ring (902; 950; 998) to the seal door (908; 970; 1000).
