Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a power flow control system intended to be used in a grid network, said system comprising a power flow control device, means for detecting an electrical fault within the device, means for identifying the type of electrical fault detected and means for protecting said power flow control device, said protection means comprising: - A bypass switch placed parallel to each diode in the power flow control device; - A bypass switch placed parallel to each switch in the power flow control device, unless the switch is a non-reversible controlled switch; - A voltage limitation device connected to the terminals of each passive voltage source.
