Zusammenfassung:	A color display device (D) is provided, including a colored light-transmitting base material (10), a light-blocking base material, and a light source unit (30) that has at least a part located between the colored light-transmitting base material (10) and the light-blocking base material (20), in which the colored light-transmitting base material (10) has a total light transmittance of 18% or less, and in which the light source unit (30) is disposed such that emission light transmits through the colored light-transmitting base material (10), the color display device having excellent designability and high luminance.
