Zusammenfassung:An electronic device is provided. The electronic device a processor configured to, receive a signal for requesting activation of a communication service for the external electronic device, from the external electronic device using the second communication module; transmit device information of the electronic device to the first external server using the first communication module; receive information for activation of the communication service from the first external server; access the second external server on the basis of an address of the second external server which is included in the information for activation of the communication service; and perform activation of the communication service for the external electronic device using data transmitted from the second external server.
