Zusammenfassung: | The invention provides an axial flux electric motor comprising a rotor (3) rotatably supported around an axis of rotation (Ar) and carrying a number RPN of magnetic poles (22,23), and a stator (2) carrying a number SPN of poles (3a ... 3n) distributed at regular angular intervals about the axis of rotation (Ar) of the rotor (3), each of the poles (3a ... 3n) of the stator (2) comprising a core (5a to 5c) extending in a radial direction of the stator (2) and a winding (6) of an electric conductor wound around the core (5a to 5c), the cores (5a to 5c) of the poles (3a ... 3n) each being formed by a stack of laminations (7a to 7c) consisting of a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet (E), the grains of which are oriented in a preferred direction (GO), the cores (5a to 5c) respectively being aligned along a pole axis of the respective pole (3a ... 3n) which is directed axially parallel to the axis of rotation (Ar) of the rotor (3).
