Zusammenfassung:An impedance matching device for matching a characteristic acoustic impedance includes an impedance matching body including a first side and an opposite second side. The impedance matching device is configured to match a characteristic acoustic impedance of a medium contacted on the first side to a characteristic acoustic impedance of a sound transducer contacted on the second side. The impedance matching body includes microstructures which have a structural extent of at most 500 nanometers along at least one spatial direction.
