Zusammenfassung:The present invention provides a test rig for fatigue testing of a test specimen, wherein the test rig comprises at least one support, configured to support the test specimen, a first excitator, comprising a connector for connecting the first excitator to a first end of the test specimen and configured to subject the first end of the test specimen to a first forced vibratory load. The test rig further comprises a second excitator, which comprises a connector for connecting the second excitator to a second end of the test specimen, opposing the first end. The second excitator is configured to subject the second end of the test specimen to a second forced vibratory load. A direction of the first forced vibratory load extends in a first plane and a direction of the second forced vibratory load extends in a second plane, and the second plane is aligned parallel to the first plane. The present invention further provides a testing assembly for fatigue testing of a test specimen, a method for fatigue testing of a test specimen and a method for designing a fatigue test.
