POLYETHYLENE COMPOSITION

The invention relates to a composition comprisingA) a first polymer which is a polyethylene selected from linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), low density polyethylene (LDPE), high density polyethylene (HDPE), an elastomeric copolymer of ethylene and an α-olefin having 4 to 10 carbon atoms and combinations thereof,B) a second polymer selected from the group consisting of a polyamide, a polycarbonate and an ethylene vinyl alcohol and combinations thereof andC) a third polymer which is an ethylene-acrylate copolymer which includes an acrylate represented by formula (I) or (II) as a comonomer: CH2=CR1-COO-(CH2)n-OH (I) CH2=CR1-COO-(CH2)m-CHOH-CH2OH (II)wherein R1 is H or C1-C5 linear or branched alkyl, n is an integer of 1-10 and m is an integer of 0-10,wherein the amount of A) with respect to the total composition is more than 50 wt%,the amount of B) with respect to the total composition is 3 to 45 wt% andthe amount of C) with respect to the total composition is 0.1 to 10.0 wt%.
