Zusammenfassung:A seat unit for an aircraft includes an intermediate portion 15 disposed between a first seat 13 and a second seat 14. In a bed state, the intermediate portion 15 is adjacent to a first backrest 13b and a second backrest 13b while a height of an upper surface of the intermediate portion 15 substantially coincides with the height of the first backrest 13b and the second backrest 13b. The intermediate portion 15 includes a vertically movable partition plate 15d. In a state in which the partition plate 15d is housed in the intermediate portion 15, the upper end of the partition plate 15d is located at or below the height of the upper surface of the intermediate portion 15, and when the partition plate 15d is raised, the upper end of the partition plate 15d can move to a position above the eye level of a user seated on a at least a first seating portion 13a or a second seating portion 13b in a seat state.
