Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a short-circuit ring (1) for an asynchronous machine, comprising a ring (2) made of a first metal material, a covering (3) made of a second metal material being applied by plating to the circumferential surface of the ring (2) lying outside in the radial direction, over the entire circumference of the ring. The invention further relates to a squirrel-cage rotor (4), comprising a short-circuit ring (1) of this type and rotor bars (6), which are formed from a material of the same type as the material of the covering (3) of the short-circuit ring (1).
