Zusammenfassung:	A method of operating a server for providing a software platform includes the operations of receiving, from a client device, information about an electronic device on which the software platform is to be mounted; transmitting, to the client device, information about software packages mountable on the electronic device; receiving, from the client device, a request for information about a first software package selected from among the software packages; detecting a second software package associated with the first software package; transmitting, to the client device, the information about the first software package and information about the second software package; and creating a platform image, based on software packages selected by the client device.
