SPECIFIC COMPOUNDS AS ACCELERATORS FOR IMINE/METAL SALT-INITIATED RADICAL POLYMERIZATION OF UNSATURATED COMPOUNDS AND THE USE THEREOF AS ACCELERATORS
Use of at least one specific compound selected from (a) phenols, which are characterized in that they comprise precisely one phenolic OH group per aromatic ring, have no alkyloxy-substituents in an ortho-position to the OH group and do not include any carboxyl (-COOH) substituents (not even in salt...

Zusammenfassung: | Use of at least one specific compound selected from (a) phenols, which are characterized in that they comprise precisely one phenolic OH group per aromatic ring, have no alkyloxy-substituents in an ortho-position to the OH group and do not include any carboxyl (-COOH) substituents (not even in salt form), no -CH2-N(CH3)2 and no substituents comprising an -NH-NH- group, (b) triphenyl phosphite, triphenyl phosphine, p-toluenesulphonic acid, N-isopropyl-N'-phenyl-p-phenylendiamine and (c) NH-acidic compounds in combination with a curing system as an accelerator and/or for improving curing, particularly at low temperatures, for radical polymerizations by means of a curing system, which comprises (i) at least one aldehyde and/or ketone and at least one primary amine, (ii) at least one aldimine or (iii) at least one ketimine, or a mixture of two or more of the components (i) to (iii), and at least one further activator (accelerator) in the form of a metal salt, as an initiator system for a synthetic resin composition containing radically polymerizable compounds, and related subjects of the invention. |
