Zusammenfassung:A nozzle box (7, 7′) is arranged in a drying device in a transverse direction relative to a board (8) to be dried by means of drying air in the drying device. The nozzle box (7, 7′) has a tapered shape in at least one direction perpendicular to the direction of flow of the drying air in the nozzle box (7, 7′) and a drying surface provided with nozzles (18) and facing the board (8), wherein the drying air streams out of a plurality of nozzles (18) arranged in rows in the drying surface onto the board (8). The nozzle box (7, 7′) is characterized in that the ratio of the sum of the openings of the nozzles (18) per square meter to the drying surface is less than 1.1%.
