Zusammenfassung:A device for identifying or tracking tools, the device comprising: a first wall (50) delimiting a first area wherein a first tool comprising a RFID tag can be placed, a first antenna (1) for receiving a first radio signal from the RFID tag when the first tool is in the first area, and for generating a first analog signal from the first radio signal, a first analog-to-digital converter (ADC) for converting the analog signal into a digital signal, a first processing unit (22, 24) for processing the digital signal, a first housing (4) containing the first processing unit, a second housing (18) containing the first ADC, the second housing being remote from the first housing, and a digital link (10) connecting the first housing with the second housing for transmitting the digital signal to the first processing unit.
