Zusammenfassung:	A method for estimating the height of a reflector of a vehicle, the method including a reading step, in which at least one reflection signal from the reflector of the vehicle is read at one time and the at least one reflection signal representing at least one information item in respect of a relative speed of the vehicle. Further, the method includes a specifying step, in which an estimated value for the speed of the vehicle is specified. Finally, the method includes an ascertaining step, in which an estimated value for the height of the reflector is ascertained using the relative speed of the vehicle and the estimated value for the speed of the vehicle.
